WWAUNITED was founded in 2019 by artist Claudia Trongmo with the purpose or increasing visibility and opportunities for diverse Worldwide Women Artists with focus on Abstract Art..
We feature both emerging and established Artists as well as sharing interviews and news on social media.
At WWAUNITED we believe in being inclusive by serving and supporting all worldwide Women Artists of all ethnicities and cultures, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, as well as advocating for mental health and women with disabilities.
According to the National Museum of Women in the Arts website : “Women artists have been marginalized for centuries. Gender bias is less overt today, but contemporary women artists still face many obstacles and disparities, as well as persistent underrepresentation in museum collections and exhibitions worldwide. Their historical precursors still deserve to have their stories told.”
